What is Sugaring?
One of the main advantages of sugaring is that the paste is removed in the direction of hair growth, which may reduce hair breakage and help minimise ingrown hairs. The sugar paste is also applied at body temperature, making it a gentler option for the skin and eliminating the risk of burns associated with overheated wax.
Because sugaring paste contains only natural ingredients, it is often preferred by individuals with sensitive skin or those looking to avoid products containing resins, fragrances, or other additives commonly found in some waxes.
Unlike wax, sugar paste adheres primarily to the hair and dead skin cells rather than live skin cells. This can result in a more comfortable treatment while providing gentle exfoliation and leaving the skin feeling smooth.
